I was born in Hartford County and have been a resident of Farmington for the past forty years. My father, Andy Gauvin, established Andy Gauvin Carpentry in 1969. Upon his retirement in 2003, I established Keith Gauvin Carpentry.
As a youngster growing up, my summers were spent on the job site with my dad. To this day, he instilled a work ethic in me that I carry to every job site. Education was stressed in our family and after graduating from college in 1992, I returned home to Farmington. I decided I wanted to stay in the family business and went to work full-time with my father.
Since forming Keith Gauvin Carpentry, I have worked closely with my customers from start to finish. This style of job management leads to customer satisfaction and repeat clients. I am proud to say that I still get referrals from jobs my father did twenty years ago.
Home remodeling is not always about hiring the least expensive contractor. It’s about showing up every day on time, attention to detail, having a reliable sub-contractor base, leaving the job site clean and orderly, and most importantly, it is about completing the project at the quoted price. I believe no one does this better than Keith Gauvin Carpentry.
We look forward to making your dreams a reality!
